Noodle student show off their skills this summer

Our Noodlers have been busy showing off their skills with more performances planned for the summer.

On Saturday, some of the children from our NPA Academy and performing arts classes took to the stage to entertain residents at Brunswick Gardens Retirement Village in Woodhouse, Sheffield. Wearing our new Noodle T-shirts, all the youngsters put on quite a show with songs, dances and even a short musical.

The Stone Cutter Musical, based on a Japanese folk tale, was performed by our 5-6 Performing Arts class at Beighton. While members of our 7-11 Performing Arts class and NPA Academy performed Fight Song, Girl on Fire and the Hand Jive.

The residents were so impressed with the show they organised a collection, which will be donated to Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

Then on Sunday, 60 of our smallest pupils performed in our annual Tots Show at Springs Academy. The children, from walking age to three, attend our Ballet Tots and Noodle Tots classes and the performance was a great opportunity for their loved ones to see what they’ve been busy learning.IMG_3095

Nikki Johnson, Noodle Performance Arts’ founder and managing director, said: “Performing is a great way to boost children’s confidence and show the world all the skills they’ve been developing in class. We have lots more opportunities for our students to shine this summer and we hope they really enjoy the experience.”
