Five ways you can help us in our Little Herd Appeal

Help us join the herd and raise money for a great cause.

Noodle Performance Arts has launched a fundraising drive to collect at least £500 for Sheffield Children’s Hospital. The Children’s Hospital Charity is behind the Herd of Sheffield – a sculpture trail of elephants which will brighten up the city and generate much-needed cash to buy life-saving equipment and create a comfortable and welcoming environment for poorly children.

We’re hoping to join in with this amazing initiative by sponsoring one of the smaller baby elephant sculptures which will form part of the Little Herd.

You can help us sponsor a Noodle elephant by joining in with any or all of the following:

We’ve set up a page to collect donations for our Little Herd Appeal from our generous Noodlers and their parents.

  • Design your own elephant

All children attending our classes are being invited to take part in our design an elephant competition. Elephant pictures can be collected from your child’s teacher and the finished designs need to be in by January 29. The overall winning design will be incorporated into the final elephant and the winner and runners up will be given the chance to help us decorate our sculpture when it arrives. The cost per entry is a £1 donation to the elephant fund.

  • Put on your most Christmassy outfits

We’d love our Noodlers to come along to their final class before Christmas looking as festive as possible. And as it’s the season of goodwill we’ll be collecting £1 donations from all those who’d like to contribute.

  • Buy a raffle ticket or two

We’re organising a special Noodle raffle to raise funds for the Children’s Hospital and give you the chance to win some fantastic prizes. Tickets are just 50p each and can be bought from any of the Noodle teachers. The prizes on offer include a one-hour Noodle party for up to 20 children (worth £100), a school meet and greet from our popular Snow Queen or a character of your child’s choice (worth £50) and a half term of free classes (worth up to £35). The raffle will be drawn on January 29.

  • Take part in our parent and child drama sessions

On Sunday, December 20, we’re running a special parent and child drama session for children aged seven and over who attend our performing arts classes. The one-hour workshop will run from 10am to 11am at Beighton Lifestyle Centre. Tickets will be £9 for both parent and child and all the money will go towards our Little Herd Appeal. It will be a great chance for you to find out what your children get up to in our classes and to have a go yourself. Beighton Lifestyle Centre has very generously donated the room free of charge so every penny can go to Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Places are limited so book now via our website to avoid disappointment.
